Kate's Feeling Freeland Cornmeal Cookies
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Cream: 2 tbs lime zest, 1 cup butter, 2 tbs sugar
Add: 2 eggs, 1 tsp rosewater, 2 tsp Freeland Gin
Combine then add: 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup cornmeal, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt
Scoop 2 tbs balls onto parchment-lined sheets
Bake 10 minutes until set, lightly browned at edges only. Cool completely
Make glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbs Freeland Gin, 2 tsp lime juice, 1 tsp rose water
Glaze cookies and add rose petals and lime zest
